Look at page two of their Request For Proposal found Here. Notice that they don’t say this project is subject to the November bond issue being passed by the voters? They just mention it. Also note they anticipate the construction will start in the Spring of 2021.
What’s going on here? Keep in mind if a pro $50 million jail candidate wins in the District #2 election this November, the Commission could have the four votes they need to go right back to the jail Lease (COP) and ignore any majority NO vote from voters! Consider these things wisely as you weigh your vote.
